Local municipal corporations have stopped stray dog killings, but have done little to assist in the sterilization campaign. Sensing the need of the hour, PAWS volunteers played an excellent role by Picking up strays, putting them into the ambulance, taking them to hospitals for sterilization and vaccination and ultimately releasing them into their respective areas.
